Program:

The main objective of this activity is to make sure that every member of the team is valued for his or her contribution to the overall success of the team. The underlying issues of team management, leadership & personal growth are the pillars of this fun activity were we all achieve together.

The group is divided into teams of 7 and guided through some warm up exercises that presents an opportunity for each team member to discover the contribution necessary for the success of the team. The heights of the rims are lowered and the game is shortened to a time of seven minute 3rd's to enhance the intensity of the game. The scoring is designed to reward working as part of a team. Team captains are faced with the added challenge of trading players to other teams in order to strengthen the make up & balance of their team rosters.

Each team member will have to rely on his or her collective and individual abilities.

Outcomes:

This activity is designed to challenge each team member to utilize his or her own uniqueness as a member of the team, requiring each member contribution for a favourable outcome for the team. Success is measured by how well the teams collectively maximize the individual efforts of each team member but as part of the team.
